The Windows Security Update CD will be shipped to you free of charge. This CD includes Microsoft critical updates released through October 2003 and information to help you protect your PC. In addition, you will also receive free antivirus and firewall trial software.

This CD is only available for Windows XP, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows 98, and Windows 98 Second Edition (SE). Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.

Amazingly, there is no charge, even shipping, for this CD. One CD contains all the relevant updates for all Windows versions.

If you have stayed current with Windows Update, you don't need this CD (unless you reinstall your same version of Windows or upgrade to a more recent version). mjh

After about 7 weeks, I finally got this CD. Update indicated I was missing just a few updates (but that surprised me, since I have updated several times in 2004 and these updates end in late October 2003). A second CD was included with free EZArmor antivirus and firewall software (see PC Training & Consulting Weblog: Free Antivirus and Firewall Software -- http://www.mjhinton.com/help/000587.htm)
