Weird Browser Problem

Q: All at once my computer starts to open web page minimized,I have to go to the tool bar and click maximize to see the page. The only way I can get it back to normal is to restore my computer. I know there are programs you can download to open web in full page when this happens. It really bugs me that this happens and I can't find one word about the problem. Can you please help? A: There are a couple of things to try. Size the browser window as you like. Close it (exit). Open it again -- does it open as it was when you closed it, or is it minimized? Size it again and hold down the Shift key as you close it. Test.

If it opens minimized after both of these tests, size it again. Look at Tools, Internet Options. On the General tab, in the Home Page section, click the Use Blank button. OK. Close. Open again.

If the problem persists, then I'd suspect some kind of spyware. There are lots of things to consider at that point. Search this blog for spyware info for links to various detection and removal tools (some of which are free). mjh
