Q: hello there
Sorry to send an email like this.
I came across your web site and I truly enjoyed my visit.
A lot of it helped but i have one question can: a sk_styles.css work on aol hometown pages? i tried uploading it and I dont see anything happening with my background on my web page hometown.aol.com/witcheslogic
If you can help in any way I would be so happy..i know it can be annoying when people email with questions concerning web pages because its allot to explain good knowledge of HTML Java but this is my first time with css.
I hope to hear from you
Sincerely J
A: J-Thanks for looking at my website and for writing.
Yes, you can use a linked external CSS file with your pages on hometown.aol.com. In fact, your page looks OK from here -- did you fix the problem? Your code looks OK.
I did get an error message that one of the graphics ''cannot be displayed because it contains errors.'' You might try uploading the graphic again.
One thing I've noticed about AOL is that when I upload some files and refresh the view in AOL, it doesn't always refresh -- the changes don't show, even though everything was done correctly.
Have you tried running Internet Explorer separately while you are online with AOL (look for a blue 'e' on the Desktop or Start menu)?
Write again, anytime. mjh
