This is the back wall, nearest the canyon wall and probably the north wall. This is in effect the long line of the the capital E floor plan. The white on some stones is probably plaster. You can see that ledge I commented on, although it doesn't seem to go the full length. Remember this great house was expanded repeatedly. I assume the ragged holes are from damn pothunters, but I suppose the could have been done by the Anasazi themselves. |

| Notice the five doorways, so regularly arranged that you can easily imagine where a sixth doorway should be. Each of these doorways probably also aligned with other interior doorways. Imagine such regularity and planning without paper floorplans. |
